It was through the late Dr. Charles Cheng that the hospital came into fruition. Although a Chinese by birth, he became one of us and helped a lot of people with his western and oriental medicinal practices, community services and so much more.

Hi hi.. Wow. Never knew such histories exist. Thanks for the this very detailed written account of it. It makes a place more worth the visit if it has some kind of history behind it.

It's kind of sad they were not able to sustain the hospital. It would have been kind of legacy to Dr. Cheng.
