I think it's worrisome because the government can just say/do whatever they want. What is an upvote? Is it a tip? Is it income? Is it a gift? How are we even supposed to keep track of it? It's very easy to get airdropped a coin that you owe taxes on and not even know you got airdropped. It's ridiculous.
Considering no governments even seem to legally recognize that cryptocurrency is even currency it really shows how crazy this is all going to get.
