Recent evidence has led me to the shocking realisation that tea is a highly dangerous drink.
After a full day in the pub yesterday having drank approximately 14 pilsner I was in the merriest of moods on my way home.
After struggling a little to figure out which house in the long terrace was mine and after putting my key in a few of the wrong key holes I eventually entered with a small stumble into my front porch.
All good you might say, having reached the safety of my home. No! This was when the dangers of tea became a real threat to me personally.
After some incoherent screaming from my wife I was subject to a barrage of slaps and kicks. She howled about how all she had done all evening was drink tea while I had spent the day in the pub drinking beer. My efforts to calm her down were to no avail. I have never seen alcohol cause anyone to get so angry or violent and I think the time has come to put the teabags away and the beers in the fridge.
