I've been sitting here in front of Photoshop for a couple hours now, trying to get my creative juices flowing and work out graphics for the team worthy of the team.
When someone says Team Australia I instantly think a Green & Gold get up. So I figured I'd go Green & Gold ;)

I pretty much HAD TO go the old green and gold ;)
I did try to play around with a kangaroo design but that almost did my head in lol

I like the star's in. The ancient thought that the stars were beings that God had made to watch over us and guide us. Sure hope it's a good omen for the logo.
@masoncerritos Thanks :) I love the addition of the stars too and think of it in similar terms as you.
The stars in this design is a nod to the Southern Cross (on the Australian flag) and a symbol of higher guidance looking over us.

It could work quite well as a watermark.
I thought so ;) I made a few more transparent versions today. I wasnt sure which floated peoples boats as a watermark, the simple aussiefied logo or the full shebang.
When in doubt, keep it simple.
