The only time i assign genders to inanimate things is after I've been interacting with them for long periods and even then it's not guaranteed 😂 so I've never bothered considering the pedestrian lights as gendered, they were just there to tell you when you probably won't get flattened while crossing.
I love the Mary Poppins lights though they look fun!
