I dunno about paying being a privilege and therefore it shouldn't happen. I mean, how else do journalists earn enough to do their job? Where does the money come from? 'Cause it takes hours and hours to write the kind of journalism that is worth being read in the first place and that has enough nuance to not just be PR.
I hate money so much. Or at,least the way it is,now, hindering us from what we need.
