Was lucky to have a trip with family members to Balik Pulau in Penang and stop by this restaurant for lunch. I saw this restaurant online in Facebook, which they promoting about their specialty in Taiwanese style of roasted herbs chicken. This happened 3 days after the flower pot roasted chicken which I stated in my first food blog post. Thus my family members were sick of chicken as a meal for a week... lol.
The small urns are for the roasted chicken, while the 2 big urns are for the herbal soup which you'll see in the menu later.

There are 3 flavors options available. Original, Garlic or Sugarcane.

Ding! Ding! Ding! The food is ready to be served.
The original flavor of roasted chicken, took a while to be served as the chef are roasting it.
My verdict?
Although the taste is good, the food is overpriced in the middle out of nowhere. The location of the restaurant is in a rural area, which doesn't seem justify the price of the food as other restaurants around the area are much cheaper than this. The price range is around 5-star luxury restaurant level. The portion is given also small for the pricing, not to mention you'll need to wait for around 20 minutes for the chicken to be served.
The service also bad as well, while the staff cleaning the table, the "supervisor" took over the spray and clean the table again but this time the spray spraying at us, so I have to excuse myself to wash my hand in order to prevent food poisoning. The restaurant accepts cash only which also difficult for the customer to pay handsomely without the option to use card payment.
Recommend on trying once in a while or only once and never come back. XD
If you want to try it, recomended time to visit is on the weekdays. Weekends are extremely crowded with not only local visitors but tourist as well.
