4 days in Thailand | Day 1

in #teammalaysia6 years ago (edited)

I had such a great time in Thailand last week. I was there with my husband and friends for 4 days and 3 nights. I would rather describe this trip as a gamble trip. We did not make any specific arrangements for all the activities there. We brought 500myr each. Our trip was accumulated with the total of 2000myr. We wanted to cut our budget by not taking the airplane, ets was fully booked since it was CNY holidays. God, I swear I was not expecting that it would went as smoothly as it is.

We drove all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Krabi. It was a 800km journey with husband’s brand new car, Jaxa. We drove as early as 5am in the morning on Thursday. We stopped at several RNR station for food and toilet usage. I did not eat so much before this trip begins, because I was kononnya on diet. As a result, right now I gained more than I lose. Hahahahahaha! Huge dissapointment. It’s okay it was worth it. (Tryna calm myself)

We arrived Perlis after 8 hours of driving. We ate Kampung food at Alor Staq, Kedah. Actually I prefer eating kampung food at different areas to taste their own style of cooking, that’s is the main reason why I am forever fat, haha!

Then, we went to service our car, becausw Jai was worried that his car would get sick. Syukur alhamdulillah tiada apapa. :)

Then, we went straight to border where we had to passthru different station, mainly Malaysian and Thailand customs. My friend was blacklisted for entering Thailand, we were shocked that this happened. He needed to pay big amount of money in order to pass the Malaysia border. The forms that we needed to fill in was settled in Perlis. We bought the form to skip the queing because they said, it is better to prepare all the forms before entering.

We arrived Danok at 7:00 pm. It was already Maghrib when we arrived. This is my husband and I first photo in Thailand.

Then, we continue to drive to Hat Yai and we stopped at this mesmerizing temple. We parked our car at the side, then, apa lagi. I took out my Fuji and started to shoot. Then, next thing we know, all the Thailand cars passthru us honked us for disrespecting their temple? Up until now it was still a confusion. We were deeply sorry if it means disrespecting the culture :( Btw, we stopped immediately and continue our journey to Hat Yai. This is the picture of the temple, it was big and beautiful.

We checked in at TD residence near the Asean Trade Centre. These are some pictures of the food I took with my Fuji.
