As i was on the way home i was reminded of how good and faithful Jesus is. In times when i go through the darkest storms hence tend to focus on my own situation instead of focusing on the one who is greater , stronger and is able to the impossible made possible. On the way home as i was just staring at the sky of how majestic it was despite eventhough it was raining on the way home.
I was reminded of this song despite how overwhelm i felt the past few days.
" You are forever in my life
You see me through the seasons
Cover me with Your hand
And lead me in Your righteousness
This song was sung over my life on my 21st birthday as my friends were praying for me and it just brought back so many memories of being able to declare so loudly that He sees me through the seasons, He covers me with His hand , He is forever in my life.
" I'll sing to You, Lord, a hymn of love
For Your Faithfulness to me
And I'm carried in everlasting arms
You'll never let me go through it all
I have been learning to not be so emotional these days hence learning to not always look for men for advice because instead learn to grow in the process.
Despite how sexually abused i was, am able to declare : abused but not defeated because the One who died for me on the cross is magnificent and He reigns over all.
" Hallelujah, hallelujah
The king who resurrected on the 3rd day lives in me and reigns in my life. I am still able to smile and be strong is all because of the Most High King.
No matter how dark your days can be, learn to enjoy the journey whether it be good or bad because sometimes one has to go through the breakdown in order to get back up and start walking again.
I am in that season where i want to grow on my own with the Lord and slowly get back up and start walking by faith again with the Lord. It is going to be such an amazing journey ahead of me.
I end with this verse.
" Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lordyour God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
