Such a sea of red!
420 food bags and 280 additional Children's party pack ready!
We must say that this wasn't easy, but it was definitely NOT IMPOSSIBLE!
Due to the large volume of packing that needed to be done, the entire team was split into sections where tables are placed at the carpark right outside the foodbank, and the final product will be packed in our signature red bag inside the foodbank store until the outreach volunteers arrive with their respective vans to collect their Christmas Blessed packs.
Our much pride and joy were the volunteer's children. They were very sporting and knew that they have limited time to pack the children's packs before the "sea of red blessings" arrive occupying the tables, so they scrambled and did as fast as they could!
The one good thing about diligent children is that once they get their head in the game, it is easy and smooth as they knew exactly what to do.
Blessed are the young minds!
Despite the huge amount of packing, a team with efficiency always pan out well. With the great guidance of our team leaders of the day, everyone managed to complete close to 3 hours later!
After that, our final pack of the year has completed and food "awaits" for their tired exhausted packers.
You can literally see how exhausted they were. But every drop of sweat was worth it.
Tamil Church Christmas Event was already starting
While the packers are still taking a break, some of the Lifezone volunteers took over to deliver the packed goodies for the first Christmas event held in the church main hall itself (where our Food Bank is store is located).
He who is generous will be blessed,
For he gives some of his food to the poor.
