Decentralization to Centralization : Noticed anything odd?

in #teammalaysia4 years ago

Despite strong rumors of secret fork which Steem might implement within less than 24 hours now, there was an odd pump of Steem price. Supposedly, the secret fork will allow Steem to nullified selected Steem accounts (I feel pity for those accounts).

This pump is still good for those that still holds Steem.

Anticipation based on the rumors supposedly lead to dump of Steem price but something happened here.

Decentralization to Centralization
The point of the matter I wanted to highlight here is the fact that how centralization of system can affect the community. Bad governance will eventually only lead to self-profit and neglecting the entire communities for the sake of self-interest. That's centralization which sound similar to banking and financial institution.

Apart from that, the price of Hive continued to be consistent with continuous resistance.

Moreover, HBD also saw a number of dump as well.

Above all, the most important key here is our own stand and decision. Personally, I don't really like to argue on which sides is better or not.

Where do you stand?
For me, I choose decentralization as a long term goal. Anything centralized is a big NO for me. Apart from that, the projects and the people supporting and believing in that same decentralization is also important to move forward together.

Sort:

Like I keep saying, If you're in crypto to bring old, failed ideas of centralization, state regulation, and taxation, just get out. Sell your holdings, and go back to the old dieing currencies and markets your use to. Or, start your own blockchain with those principals up front. Few will have anything to do with it, but, you'll have it.

Justin seems to think he bought something he could turn into his own little digital empire, but he's done nothing but shoot himself in the foot the whole way. Practically all the producers John Galted his ass and now, Splinterlands, The #1 Dapp across multiple chains is moving to Hive as their native chain. When they make the switch, transactions on Steem are going to see a sharp drop, I'd suspect. Now, he's having to use market manipulation to prop up the investment he's destroyed just to save face.

Nothing was taken from anybody when we forked Steem to create Hive. This HF on Steem will literally erase people's funds. I've not only decided to leave Steem permanently, but going forward, I will have absolutely nothing to do with any project Justin Sun is a part of. He's a child.
