Dear steemians be careful when trading or keeping your coins in the exchange. You may put some amount but if big amount please store in offline wallet.
There have been a lot of ddos attack recently, company as big as bitfinex is affectwd too.
And some other exchange stop sign up for new customer.
And some exchange also stop new user sign up - reason not sure but as one of the exchange mention the new user demand is too much and have to upgrade their system. This maybe good cause some attacker is taking oppurtunity on the rise of bitcoin.
Let's pray the attacker stop attacking cause not everyone is rich even joining cryptocurrency market. But will definitely be rich later.

The best way to kep your coin safe is using a hardware wallet nano ledger...
But it will cost a bit but for long term safety.
Meantime use storage and divide it to few wallet for safe keeping.
Are there good, cheaper alternatives to the nano ledger? I mean, at 80 bucks it is not a crazy amount, but for starters there should be a cheaper (simpler) wallet
