Beach Wednesday the Pier at Walnut Beach

This is a post for Beach Wednesday - led by @lizanomadsoul and initiated by @uwelang
and for this week I will share a couple of shots of the Pier at Walnut Beach

This was a couple of weekends ago when I went to the beach for a morning walk at sunrise, it was a lovely morning fairly warm and as you can see a very low tide, which made for some cool reflections on the wet sand of the beach.

It wasn't an overly colorful sunrise, but Mother Nature did give some nice subtle colors and shades.

This second one is from November last year, on an evening visit to the beach I lined up this shot from a similar viewpoint of the pier and with the moon in the sky.

Nice one! I love the comparison between the two cameras. I have yet to really take my A7sii out for a low light photo spin, but I love to see what others are doing with the series - keeps me motivated!!

But yeah, those colours - wow!

Yeah between the 6xx range and the A7 range there is a big difference in low light and the A7sii is meant to be pretty amazing with lowlight

so calm and beautiful .. how is the surf there now with the Hurricane coming in the south east part of the coast line?

It was hoppy a few days ago from the previous storm that passed along the coast out to sea I am not sure how it is now I haven't been by the beaches this week

They're both beautiful but, although I really like the color in the first, the peacefulness of the second is somehow so calming. I would have guessed the exposures were reversed (longer for the second). Perfection!

Yeah I was surprised with the exposure length for the second one when I edited these the other day

The first shot has some incredibly colours to both the sky and the water! The blues in the top right (the sky) are especially soothing to look at. Did you have to do any enhancement of the shot, or is it unedited?

Thanks, Yes all my shots are edited, I shoot in RAW mode, as I like to edit the image myself not let the camera do it
