One thing for sure it’s getting darker on the mornings, winter is moving in and the grey days and early evenings are here. Another hectic working week, as the orders keep rolling in both roasters have been busy keeping up with demand, the smaller Speciality coffee roaster runs all day every day at the moment churning out exceptional quality coffee. And green coffee continues to be in huge demand, with many 100’s of kilos shipped this week - and again three 600kg pallet deliveries of new stock arrived to keep up with demand.
On the Hive Blockchain Hard Fork 26 took place on Tuesday 11th and smoothly transitioned Hive into a new era, bringing major enhancements like One Block Irreversibility, allowing more then one vote per block and removing vote change penalty. For API nodes the new HAF based Hived speeds up access to the blockchain data for frontends, apps and dapps. Smooth transition is not by luck though, comprehensive testing by the development team ensured it went very smoothly. Of course many API nodes only updated at the hard fork time - so there has been a number offline while the new update catches up with the blockchain. As I had updated https://api.c0ff33a.uk it has been promoted to the fastest node available for most of this week - it might just be because everyone else was offline but still felt like a tiny achievement.

I am not keeping in touch with the forks anymore. I did notice there was a kind of glitch while I was posting a few days ago. I never sign out, so I must have been automatically signed out while the fork went in. The vote penalty thing sounds good. Personally I'm just using Hive to post and enjoy consuming these days. I'm not as invested in the technicals as I used to be.
Thank you for dropping day, however you use Hive Blockchain it's an exciting cryptocurrency - and you know however you build up the Hive tokens keep working towards increasing the value.
This hardfork is a good tool for big RC accounts so they can make their moves easily, and i've seen how others big accounts are using it to help the new accounts creation process so it actually ended up helping the evolution of the hive blockchain.
i have one question, from where you get your coffe from? you have your own production land? here in venezuela we have a lot of coffee land
HF26 is a massive step forward for the Hive Blockchain, and of course can only help improve the value of Hive.
I stock raw coffee from all around the world, although not specifically from Venezuela I do go through a whole load of Colombian coffee.

I am not a fan of winter to be honest, pretty soon I will leave home in darkness and return in darkness - and that's a good three months worth. Christmas can be busy for us - but to be honest I'm just worn out from constantly having staff off - the whole of this year I have been covering for someone.
