No but from what I've seen, you do have to remove an awkward bolt that has a square head and a 3/8" (or 5/8") on the ENGINE side (JUST to make it more complicated); Once you remove all the junk out of the way, it should be a fairly easy operation. Good luck, and by the way, I have 2 F-100's; a 78 Louisville, and a '56
