I mean its bad enough that Spot only pays the artist a fraction of a penny for each play ... but now people have to pirate the service?
Sorry I might be in the minority here but paying $10 a month for basically every new artist released and thousands of classic artists (indie artists too) is a steal.
Remember when you spent hundreds of dollars a year on CD's tapes and 8tracks? or worse, waiting to record your favorite song off the radio and the stupid DJ wouldn't shut up till just before the song started ?!?!
Some artists work hard, just pay them, thru one medium or another, pay them.
