August seems to be a busy month for smartphone business. How not, in this month Google will release the latest Android OS, Android O.
Not only the latest OS released, flagship smartphone Nokia 8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be launched in the same month.
Specifically Nokia 8, Nokia's device license holder, HMD Global, has announced to release Nokia 8 in a special event on August 16, 2017. Meanwhile, Samsung will announce the birth of the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23, 2017.
Citing Phone Arena, Friday (4/8/2017), Nokia 8 and Galaxy Note 8 is predicted to be different from other devices in terms of design and specifications. Even so with the software run. Both are expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat.
Latest according to a report, Nokia 8 could be the first non-Google smartphone that comes with Android O.
More recently, the smartphone was revealed on the Geekbench benchmark page. Instead of Nougat, Nokia 8 uses Android OS O.
Unfortunately, the truth of this information is still unconfirmed, as well as data specifications on Geekbench. If the news is not proven, most likely once released, the Nokia 8 OS will be updated to Android O.
