I loved Ray Kurzweil's book The Singularity is Near, such an interesting read. Superintelligence from Nick Bostrom was definitely interesting, although his writing style of exploring every possibility he could think of did get to me after a while. It made the book a little hard to finish. However, I can recommend both books to anyone more interested in this topic.
