Doing backups of data and files on android is very important, but some people ignore this, So they often lose important data and files, lost sms, contacts, and other data.

To avoid this, backups are required regularly on your Android phone. No one knows if one day later data and files on android phone can be lost and erased.

Is it because replace ROM, factory reset, malware attacks, files accidentally deleted, replace new phones and so forth.

Suppose when the android is damaged and should be reset, then how to backup android data before the factory reset is indeed very necessary.

We may be very careful to keep the data and files safe, but the name of the disaster, will not be denied, and the disaster will still come.

How to Backup All Data on Android

In this post I will explain one method in doing file backup, this method work for android that has not been on root.

Backup Data on Android with Google Backup

This method utilizes Backup & Reset feature in the settings menu. All Android phones have this feature. This is the easiest way if you want to backup passwords, preferences, application data, and so on.

The backup file will then be synced with your Google account, so if you want to recover the file, login to the phone using the Google account you used to backup.

The trick as follows:

  • Go to Settings menu »Personal» Backup & Reset
  • Next activate "Back up my data".

  • Go back to the Settings menu, select Personal »Account and Sync.
  • Login using the Google account you use on android.
  • Sync with Google Backup.
  • Next will appear list of data that can be backed up. Select all you need, or all if you want to be safe.

  • Wait a while until the sync process is complete.

The advantages of this way, which is easy do not need root access, no need to backup the computer.

The drawback is that some types of files such as movies, games, photos and music can not be backed up.
