Lock it up
Password managers store passwords for all your logins, from banking to gaming websites. This can be from a database connected to the password manager or calculated on demand, depending on the software.
So instead of typing in new passwords at every login you only need to remember one - for the password manager.
Which one to choose?
Look for these two features:
1)An database that is stored locally
2)A back up feature which can also double as a recovery
This will insure that you do not lose the passwords and can recover the system if you lose the computer.
Conclusion
Password Managers are a great tool to maximise your cyber preparedness and all security plans should have a cyber component.
