Lets step back for a second and look at where we came from so that we may better realize where we are heading.
Back in the 50-60’s we had computers that took up full rooms at Universities.
As Moores law would have it, things got quicker and smaller until we had computers in our house on our desks. http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/M/Moores_Law.html
That was not good enough, so we decided to make them smaller and design them so that we could take them places.
We kept making them smaller and smaller until they could fit into our pockets.
We started to wear them.
Whats next? I think the only logical step here is that humans go inside the computer.
The devices that allow this to happen will follow Moores law and become smaller and quicker.
Headsets will turn into contact lenses so that you can be inside the network all day without even realizing it.
At this point, I really start to question what makes that other reality inside of the network any different from reality as we know it inside the network we are currently resonating in.
We will be able to experience the other senses in VR soon, sight and sound are there. Touch, smell, and taste are coming.

Synthetic telepathy interfaces will replace the mouse and the keyboard. Meaning, you will literally control what you are doing with your thoughts. Oddly similar to what you are doing right now.
Can you think of a rose in your head and smell it? or perhaps, think of a steak and have your mouth start watering. Think of putting a sour candy in your mouth and notice how sour it is, even though, it’s not there.
Devices of the future will simulate these feelings for us. If we are able to create the electrical signals in our minds to experience these sensations, there is nothing indicating that in time, a device would not be able to simulate those same electrical signals for my mind. At that point, what makes that reality any less real than this one. A virtual candy would taste just as good as a real one.
What happens to the person who forgot to take his VR headset /contact lenses off? Where the immersion was so intense that there was no indication even of a headset being on. How about the person who fell asleep with the contacts in. When they woke up, they did not considered which reality they were in. They continued to operate in VR, falling asleep, waking up, never knowing, or rather, nothing to tell them otherwise.
You may now argue now, well they are dead, so they won’t be experiencing anything. I will argue though, do you need your physical body to experience consciousness ? Maybe they are dead in your reality, not theirs.
My thoughts, consciousness will go inside the next network and will become to believe whatever it thinks it is.
Yea this is pretty much what happened in the Matrix. Love it :D
Hey, we are all in matrix already! ;-)
Good read, actually!
Yes I believe so, everything is energy and somehow all connected.
We may all already be inside a computer
I think so :) Odd how it loops.. ;)
Wasn't Moore's law proven to be false?
"My thoughts, consciousness will go inside the next network and will become to believe whatever it thinks it is. "
We still don't know what consciousness actually is and how the brain relates to it. I think these techno-futurists have made way to many assumptions.
No. Moore's law has not been disproven. Not one (q-)bit.

Moores law still trucking. We could go on all day talking about consciousness and what is it... so I wont get into that here ;)
It is very interesting what will happen next ! What do you think ?
Global ascension via "v"r .... maybe ?
feeling the smell of weed in my head all the time,,,, without exploiting our lounges, now wouldnt that be something ;)
Nice :) I give you voteup! Cheers
Science does not stand still . Scientists , engineers and enthusiasts just continue to surprise us every day . It is difficult to imagine how they will change our lives tomorrow. The main thing that these inventions were carrying the world . Enough of aggression .
