Let's discuss technology with @Blogging-Mech

Laptops are widely used by people for work or business. One component that can affect the performance of a Laptop is a Solid State Drive (SSD). Many companies that produce these components are commonly used for laptops or PCs. One company that produces this component is Samsung.

Samsung is an electronics company from South Korea. Samsung always makes innovations to every product they create. Samsung managed to create the SSD with the largest capacity available today. The SSD product name is PM 1643.

PM 1643 looks like a typical SSD with a standard size of 2.5 inches. Although the shape looks the same as others SSD but in terms of capability of PM 1643 has a capacity of 30.72TB which makes it the largest capacity SSD ever.

In each unit of PM 1643, there are 32 NAND flash 1 TB bars, each of which consists of 16 layers of V-NAND 512 GB chip. With this capacity, SSD is able to store about 5700 video files with full HD quality with a size of about 5GB for each video file. PM 1643 also features random read and write speeds of up to 400,000 IOPS and 50,000 IOPS, and sequential read and write speeds of up to 2,100MB/s and 1,700 MB/s, respectively.

Samsung created the PM 1643 to be a complement of some of the SSD capacities they had created earlier. With the various types of SSD options, so that everyone can use the SSD according to their needs and their respective capabilities.
