A hotel in Japan innovates in hospitality by using automotive technology on their services. ProPILOT Park Ryokan is inspired from Nissan's autonomous technology, introducing the ultimate in comfort with slippers, low table, and cushions sit who can spruce themselves.
ProPILOT Park Ryokan looks like a traditional inn in general in Japan. On arrival we will be greeted by friendly hotel staff. There are some slippers arranged neatly in the lobby that we can use. Then the Tatami room is furnished with a low table and a cushion to sit on.
Once used the guests are usually a few slippers, cushion sit, or the table will be very messy. By pressing a button then the items will return to their own place by themselves. This is the uniqueness from this hotel. Slippers and other equipment using wheels and sensors who allowing them to navigate to their own place. ProPILOT Park Ryokan uses Nissan's parking technology, ProPILOT Park.
This technology was first introduced in Nissan Leaf in October last year. ProPILOT Park is designed to allow the vehicle to recognize the circumstances surrounding it. Just by pressing a button, the car will be parked by itself.
