Nice post! Last year at the Dota 2 international championship an AI bot got to play 1v1 versus the top mid players. The bot was very strong and only a few got to beat it after many fails. Dota 2 is a very very complex game, and in the next international championship which will happen around August 2018 we will get to see a 5v5 AI bots vs pros. I think if the bots win, that would be an incredible milestone for AI.
