iPhone first came in January 2007 by Apple INC and is the first smart phone.Steve Jobs said that Apple has been designing it for 3 years before the launch .
- Kindle
Kindle was introduces by Amazon in November 2007.It was a huge success and sold in approximately 5 hours and even remained out of stock for 5 months in market.
- 4 G
The 4 G technology came in 2009 and the first 4 G phone was launched in March 2010 known as Sprint’s HTC Evo. Interestingly iPhone did not use 4 G until the release of iPhone 5 in 2012.
- LYFT
LYFT is an on - demand transportation company found in June 2012.Download the app and get a friendly ride within minutes.
- ANDROID
Horowitz: “I’d like to introduce you to the Android platform. This is a platform we hope will enable people to create thousands of G Phones.”
Android is mobile operating system first invented by Nokia but their indecisiveness stop them to launch it.So Google purchased it and was launched in November 2007. After one year its commercial version Android 1.0 was launched in September 2008.
WhatsApp is a freeware and cross-platform instant messaging and voice over IP services.The idea was incorporated by Jan Koum and Brian Acton in 2009 and was a real success and people were using it all over the world.In 2012 WhatsApp caught the attention of Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook bought it in 2014.
- AIRBNB
Airbnb was founded in August 2008.The idea behind Airbnb was suggesting to rent out your apartment to make some extra money.As of today 2018, Airbnb is valued at $13 Billion and is the second highest valued start up in USA and is very successful.
- SPOTIFY
It is a music,podcast & video streaming service that was developed in 2006 and launched in October 2008. Initially everyone could buy premium subscription of spotify but the free version was available only with invitation.
Spotify now have approximately 140 million users all over the world.
- OCULUS
Oculus is a virtual reality headset developed and manufactured by Oculus VR, a division of Facebook Inc.,released on March 2016.
- BITCOIN
Bitcoin is peer to peer digital currency that is used to make online payments without any fees.It was founded by an anonymous person in 2009.
- SNAPCHAT
snapchat was first launched in 2011 on App store as a messaging App for sending disappearing photos. Initially it was known as Pictaboo, but it had the same now-famous ghost icon, Ghostface Chillah. Towards the end of 2011 the name had changed to snapchat and it caught the attention of many teens.Now its $18 billion public company.
- SQUARE
Square was launched in 2010 by the co founder of Twitter - Jack Dorsey after a friend of his could not make a sale because he could't process American Express cards.
