Apple iPhones are the most awaited smart phones to come out every year. This year, many rumors seek to indicate that Apple is planning to release three models of iPhones this year, with a limited anniversary edition at a premium price. According to report from MacRumors, the iPhones will come with drastic changes to its design as well as technical specifications, along with a inclusion of a wireless charging capability. Additionally, Apple is introducing a new touch module with additional graphite sheet lamination to prevent any overheating that might result from the wireless charging.
The report released from apple states that:
"While we don't expect general users to notice any difference, lamination of an additional graphite sheet is needed for better thermal control and, thus, steady operation; this is because FPCB is replaced with film, which is more sensitive to temperature change of the 3D touch sensor in OLED iPhone."
Furthermore, the new wireless charging technology will be dramatically different from the ones currently in use by other OEMs. The company claims that the phone can be charged from a distance of 15 feet from the dock, which means that users can finally charge their mobiles wirelessly without the need of any cables or a charging.
Apple also plans to remove all physical ports from the phone, a continuation of the design philosophy from 2016. This is going to be the start to a 'true wireless revolution' and not merely a gimmick anymore.
