Scratch v3.0 - Kids' Programming Language Tutor

in #technology7 years ago (edited)

Scratch is a visual programming language developed in 2007 to teach kids how to code. Starting in August 2018, Scratch invited everyone to test its Beta version. Finally, Scratch released the full version of 3.0 on January 2, 2019, as a new year gift for the kids.

Scratch 3.0 was revamped with some exceptional features and changes written in HTML5. Scratch now added supports for tablets and implementation of HTML, CSS and Javascript extension all incorporated in HTML instead of the previously used Adobe Flash.

After this success, Scratch established itself as the only programming language tutor for kids which actually worth using. With Scratch, kids can play with projects on Tablet, PC and Mac OSx.

Scratch only modified the coding blocks and increased the block sizes to work with touch devices in version 3.0.

Scratch team will continue to work on this project for further additional features and extensions.

The Scratch Team is also working on providing new extensions so new functionalities are expected to grow over time.
