Just a quick post about Big Data..
Can we actually call 'Big Data' big? It is really that large? In perspective, for the computing power we have today it is. Perhaps, or rather most likely, in the future this will change. 'Big Data' today might be small some day..
Data is everywhere.. Information is everywhere.. The question becomes, what do we do with it? Do we store it all? Do we analyze it all? Is it ethically defined what we can do with it?
In any case, below there is a link and picture showing the major players in the data analytics world. I have to say that my personal favorites are R and Python.. I just love the easy scripting! What is yours?
