Although both were launched at the same time...Qualcomm chipsets did outrun Mediatek in short time. The basic reason was the performance which was better than Mediatek and the next was Being Sponsored and Used by some Giant Companies in the Smartphone world. Though Qualcomm is highly priced compared to Mediatek but The price is worth to be paid. I have never tried the Mediatek, certainly used Mediatek fones of friends. Shayad Micromax ki wajah se...😂.

Ha ha. Correctly said. All of the Indian companies use MTK chipset.
Even some big Chinese companies like OPPO and Vivo are providing cheap MediaTek processors at premium price at the name of "Selfie".😒😫
