Sure doesn't sound good that's for sure. I mean, the basic idea of being able to have a digital passport, or some digital proof of ID, by itself, is nothing sinister. Could be quite convenient. Problem is when it is mandated, or forced on people in some way. And when its linked up to medical records, and linked to your access to money, and thus resources. Yeah this all sounds like shit.
