Trust is earned... and to each choice, there are consequences...
t'is not always easy to discern the right choices, though each of us must make our own choices with the best of knowledge we have - perhaps continually seeking to upgrade our knowledge so as to make better choices, and learning from the poorer choices as we go...
History is a pretty good indicator of who NOT to trust. For instance, Uncle Sam insists Tech firms build back doors into software and hardware so he can have carte blanche access to everyone's computer, (in the name of "National Security" of course).
The result was this policy of building back doors into everything makes everyone and everything vulnerable to hacks, malware, ransomware, etc, including Uncle Sam...but instead of following Constitutional guidelines for Issue of warrant on Probable Cause, etc he causes great disruption and harm for not allowing encryption....
You DO know Uncle Sam will want a 'back door' to your brain chip to "keep you safe" don't you? The next most important question is, are you willing to allow for some nameless computer engineer to program your new brain tech?
