Power - shape etc with a big computer was called Super computer. This type of computer is so strong and do any work so quickly. This computer capable to do billion billion estimates. In this world super computer is not ample .This super computer has used Subtle scientific research, huge information analysis, space roket, monitoring missile and firmament recitation etc. Now in this world quickest computer is Tiyanhe - 2 (China). Recently, India has attracted in the whole world by made super computer which computer name is "Porom". Bangladesh computer council lab has a IBM RS/ 6000 SP model super computer.

Today I am going to write about an important topic. It is also related to my academic subject. I have read it and now trying to be delivered this.
Computer is an astonishing invention from scientists. The contribution of computer in creating this modern civilization is peerless. This modern era seems to be unfitted without it. Now, I am focusing on the classification of COMPUTER.
There are many kinds of computer. Classification of computer is based on several basis.
- Classification based on purposes :
There are either general purpose or special purpose computer. A special purpose computer is designed for a specific application. It is also known as dedicated computer. Special purpose computer have the instructions permanently programmed into them that are designed to perform only one major problems. Special purpose computer are used to control traffic lights, in automobiles, weapons, appliances etc.
General purpose computer are used to handle a variety of tasks. It is containing instructions given into it which is used for different purposes. After the completion of one executive program, another program can be used for another task. Same hardware can be used for execute different programs.
General purpose computer are more versatile but it is less efficient and slower than special purpose computers. - Classification based on Signals :
There are two types of computer based on internal signaling. These are analog computers and digital computers. Analog computer represents quantities by physical analogies. It represents physical quantities, such as distance, velocity, acceleration, temperature, pressures, force etc. Analog computers collect data at high speed and process at equally high speed. The examples of Analog computers are speedometer and thermometer. Digital computers have huge storage capabilities, while analog computers have no storage capacity. - Classification based on Capacity :
Capacity of computers refers to the volume of data that a computer can process. Four kinds of computer based on capacity.
a) Microcomputers :
It is microprocessor based small laptop or desktop. Microprocessor is the brain of microcomputer. Microprocessor is a silicon chip which is used to perform arithmetic, logic operations and to control input output devises.
b) Minicomputers :
Minicomputers are less expensive, smaller and small stored capacity compared to main frame computers. It is used to perform arithmetic, logical functions and support some programming languages. It is idealy suited for processing tasks.
c) Mainframe computers :
A larger computer consists of modules mounted on a chassis. It is larger than minicomputers. It gives more advantages than minicomputers. It has grater processing speed and storage capacity, a larger variety of input- output devices, supports for a number of high speed devices and time sharing. d) Super Computers :
A very powerful mainframe computer is known as super computers. The processing system, storage capacity and data processing are very high. It used to solution of very complex and sophisticated problems and for national securities.
