Very expensive, I'm not a fan of unraid because of speed, but it is really nice. People who use it LOVE it. I don't want to have to run SSD drives to buffer writes and have them later scheduled to some other time to be moved to the disks. It just doesn't make me feel good.

But it’s looks like it’s easier to manage, like adding capacity

I will be using ZFS so it won't be easier to manage or add capacity, but it will be faster and more reliable. I decided to make that trade-off.
For many, Unraid is a fantastic low maintenance option.
