It is quiet because people don't trust the platform or are trying to earn on others. Many would rather trust their blind faith in blind projects than one they can interact with and direct daily.

Earning on others would probably make more sense even though I see it as short sighted. You can't be big everywhere and a rolling stone gathers no moss is true when it comes to acting like that.
Most people have never built a business nor spent much time on anything at all. Attention spans are short these days, too short for most to actually benefit much from investments like this.
I keep forgetting how people have changed and everything is instant today living in the now and even then they want shortcuts. Life is too easy for some and work is a swearword these days.
