Net neutrality is really an important factor in our life, let’s take few example for better understanding of net-neutrality, these examples do predict what will happen if there is no net neutrality….
We all use YouTube and Facebook,
What if your internet provider blocks you from using Facebook and allows you to use YouTube, and if you want to use Facebook, it charges a fee.
What if your internet provider reduces your internet speed when you are using Facebook and increase it when you go back to any other webpage.
Let’s take android and IOS into consideration, both use the same service and now there is no net-neutrality, hence if android pays more to the service provider, it will get more superior services and the IOS won’t even have that service.
By all these we can see that if there is no net-neutrality, thing will go hayway and it will cause disaster in the worldwideweb, all the giants like amazon, Facebook will have a leading advantage, and for starters it will be a burden.
Just imagine millions use steemit, what if your internet provider blocks it and you will have to pay extra fee to use it, so it’s not only a burden for startups but also for people like us.
