Amazon Alexa users have been reporting that she has been laughing at random, creeping them out. To make things even weirder, she also has not been obeying the commands of the owners.
Another user claims that his Amazon Dot was prompted to order cat food due to an Amazon Dot commercial commanding it to. Last year, there was a South Park commercial where the characters were yelling at an Amazon device powered by Alexa throughout the entire episode. Apparently, many users experienced issues with their devices.
I personally don't like the devices and would not keep one in my home. I think we are already teetering on the edge of giving away our privacy with the way we use our smart phones.
