The Word and its Power.

Greetings friends and brothers.

Today I want to talk to you about the word and its power.

When Satan wanted to tempt Jesus by telling him to order the stones to become bread, Jesus replied:

Matthew 4: 4.
He answered and said: It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

The Word of God is our bread and every word that comes from its mouth gives life and we should not rationalize it. Where there is disease, it gives health, where there is disease, it reprimands the spirits of the disease and imparts health and sanity, where there is poverty, it gives prosperity.

Hebrews 4:12.
Because the word of God is alive and effective, and sharper than any two-edged sword; and penetrates to split the soul and the spirit, the joints and the marrow, and discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

The Word is alive when it comes from the mouth of God, but it becomes effective when we declare it with our mouth. When we speak in agreement with God, we activate his power, but when we speak against God, we activate the power of the enemy to destroy all the things we want.

An example is given of what happens when a confession of faith is made to receive salvation.

The Word of God declares that Jesus is the Lord, this is the living Word, but it becomes effective when the declaration of wanting to receive Him as Lord comes from the mouth of those who believe. In that moment his sins are forgiven, he is born again, he becomes a child of God and he is saved.

Something similar happens with the baptism in the Holy Spirit, there is the promise of God, but we receive the Holy Spirit when we claim that promise for ourselves.

That's the way it is for healing. In the Old Testament, to receive divine healing, it was necessary to comply with the whole law, but in the New Testament, one must simply believe that we receive healing by His wounds.

It is part of the covenant, Jesus did not die only for the forgiveness of our sins, He took upon us all our illnesses and illnesses and by His wounds we were healed, but until the word of healing is pronounced, the sick remain sick, the same so that, until a declaration of faith is made to receive salvation, the lost remain lost.

John 14:10
Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I do not speak on my own, but the Father who dwells in me, he does the works.

John 14:24
He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word that you have heard is not mine, but the Father who sent me.

We also, instead of following the carnal impulses and uttering negative, destructive and devastating words that ruin our lives, we must learn to declare the Word of God, because that is how the supernatural is activated, the powerful hand of the Lord moves and yes , they can have glorious experiences that will change our lives and the lives of others.
