I have written about Dropout.tv a few times. Usually it is about a show my daughter and I love to watch together. I go on and on about how funny and clever it is. Sometimes I mention its heart. But to be quite honest, I've been burying the lede.

Sam (and his heart) have been here the whole time!
The heart shown on Dropout.tv really is the main draw. I have never seen any for-profit enterprise where the people working there love each other and their boss so much. If you need proof, check out the Game Changer episode titled "Who wants to be Jacob Wysocki?". The entire premise of the episode was to boost the spirits of one of Dropout.tv's cast members: Jacob Wysoki. They made the "game show" all about him. They brought on his friends and asked questions about him in a "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" style. In the end, it was an excuse to give him $100,000. Why? Because he needed it? Were other cast members complaining they didn't get a show like this? No. Do you know why? They didn't need it. But I guarantee you if they did, their boss and host of the show, Sam Reich, would have done it for them.
And that is the definition of "FAIR". "Fair" does not mean everyone gets the same thing. It means everyone gets what they need. I tell that to my students all the time. When one of them scoffs at this idea, I simply say, 'If one of you needed CPR to save your life, would I need to give all of you CPR too?" That immediately makes them understand. And just to top it off I tell them, "And I promise, if you needed it, I would give it to you." That is fair. Jacob needed it. So his boss Sam gave it to him.

I honestly can't imagine a better boss than Sam Reich. It seems he has made it his life's goal to give talented and Good people a place to shine. He does not allow hate on his streaming service. He only allows love, acceptance, and hilarity. Be funny without being mean. That's a pretty great goal.
Clearly his employees love him and his goal. If oyu need evidence, just check out the surprise Game Changer season finale "Samalamadingdong". I honestly can't say much without ruining it, but I can tell you I have never been happier while watching a television show. They used this 45 minutes to take Sam down a walk down memory lane of some of the funniest thing he has done as the host, creator and writer of Game Changers.
All of his cast show up to show him some love. And like everything on Dropout.tv, the result is filled with love and a ton of laughs.
Could you imagine if the past contestants of Jeopardy came back to do a tribute to Alex Trebec? Could you imagine spending months and months planning a surprise for your own boss? I love my boss... but I'm not spending months planning a way to tell her that. A simple card and periodic thank yous will do the trick. But my boss has not put her own money on the line to ensure each of us gets what they need. She has not provided a platform for all of us to become "famous and popular".
Sam Reich is awesome!
Sounds like a pretty great work environment! We should all be so lucky! Right now I am not loving work so much, but it's only the second day of school, so I am sure it will get better.
I really hope it takes a turn for the better really soon for you. My year started well but the first weeks are exhausting. I’m napping like a baby every day.
Haha, I wish! First day of school we had a board meeting so I had to put in about 13+ hours. Today after school I had to go to a clients in another town so it was another 13+ hour day. Maybe tomorrow I will get my nap.
I always see shows online where everything is just about money or drama, so hearing about Dropout.tv being built on love and fairness feels different and inspiring. It makes me think that if adults can create spaces like that, maybe we can too in school or friend groups—where people actually look out for each other instead of competing all the time.
Having a boss like that who realizes if some of his employees have problems and looks for a way to collaborate with him must be great. In addition, the union of all the employees, I imagine, shows on the screen the appreciation they have for each other.
Seems interesting 🤔 the reality show @hanshotfirst! Thanks for sharing. Greetings 😉🤝
We have watched many TV shows in which we get the same lesson that money is more important than anything else and we should do everything in life to get it. But the way you have told all the details about this show, we have got to learn a lot in this field that love is more important than money. We should understand each other and always help each other in bad times. Only then will we all be able to live a special, interesting and good life together.
Dropout.tv stands out not just for its content, but for its love and fairness. The way Sam Reich supports his team is an example of true leadership and humanity.
Great story! A platform built with such love and care is truly rare.
From what Sam Reich tells us, he is an incredible person who provides his employees with everything within his reach to make their lives as painless as possible. And now I know why they love him so much.
Very beautiful, The way you summarized Dropout.tv is truly heartfelt. I really liked the point that 'fairness = everyone gets what they need' 👏
Sam Reich clearly seems like an inspiring leader who gave a new meaning to working with love instead of negative competition.
This is such a beautiful reminder that real success comes from kindness and care. I love how Dropout.tv feels more like a family than just a streaming service. Big respect to Sam Reich for leading with so much heart.
The story of love is interesting and this story teaches us a lesson about loving each other in a different way
Game Changer is great, Make Some Noise gets boring fast though. Check out Breaking News.
Did you watch the election episode a couple of weeks ago? That was hilarious!
I’ve watched a bunch of breaking news and always love it, but game changers and dimension 20 are definitely my favorites.
yeah, I have watched all game changers except this weeks.
I've wanted to watch d20, but it's a huge time commitment. I love D&D but have a hard time watching others play.
