Hola a todos! Ya que es la segunda parte de la lista, no me extenderé y continuemos con la lista de los 10 edificios más altos del mundo!
Número 5
Lotte World Tower
Ya entramos a grandes alturas, éste maravilloso rascacielos tiene 555 metros y cuenta con 123 plantas, ubicado en Seul - Corea del Sur. Es un edificio moderno reciente, su construcción finalizó en 2017, pero no se confundan, fueron 13 años planeando esta construcción. Aunque eso está entre los estándares de los edificios que ya poseen el nombre de Rascacielos. Dentro de sus curiosidades: tiene el ascensor más rápido del mundo, un acuario y cuenta con paneles solares, turbinas eólicas y sistemas de recolección de agua, que le permite cumplir los estándares de sostenibilidad bajo la certificación LEED de oro.

Ping An Finance Center
Ubicado en la provincia de Guangdong, en China, tiene 599 metros de alto y 115 plantas. También finalizó su construcción en 2017, así que como hemos podido ver, estamos en época de fiebre de rascacielos! Su nombre proviene de la compañía de seguros Ping An Insurance, quien la encargó, para uso de oficinas. Se conecta con las propiedades comerciales de la zona y una estación de metro, lo cual es curioso, ya que las vibraciones del metro puede causar inestabilidad en la estructura, pero esto también explica la razón del tamaño de sus columnas. Está anclado por 8 megacolumnas de piedra con arriostre diagonal que se extienden a la altura del edificio y transmiten los esfuerzos al suelo. A medida que aumenta de altura su diseño apenas percibe ligeras modificaciones que le permiten adaptarse a las condiciones de viento.

Abraj Al Bait
Se encuentra en La Meca – Arabia Saudita. Es el edificio más grande que se haya construido en el mundo (no en altura, sino en tamaño por masa). Éste no es el único record que tiene, también posee los títulos de: El hotel mas alto de mundo, el reloj más grande del mundo (43x43 metros), el reloj más alto del mundo (a 400 metros de altura). Se inauguró en el 2011. Está constituido por un conjunto de edificios de uso mixto (hotel, residencia, entre otros). La estructura está ubicada al otro lado de la calle de entrada al Masjid al-Haram, en cuyo interior se encuentra la Kaaba, considerada por los musulmanes el lugar más santo del mundo. Por este motivo, el Abraj Al-Bait tiene un espacio para el rezo, con capacidad para albergar aproximadamente a cuatro mil personas. Además, la torre más alta contiene un hotel de cinco estrellas para alojar a los más de dos millones de peregrinos que participan en el Hajj cada año. La torre más alta tiene una altura de 601 metros y tiene 120 plantas.

Torre de Shanghái
Está ubicado en el distrito de Pudong en Shanghái – China. Tiene 632 metros de alto y 128 pisos, es el edificio más alto de China actualmente. Se inauguró en 2015 y su uso es de hotel y oficinas. Como ya he comentado antes, el viento a medida de que la altura aumenta, se vuelve más peligroso para los edificios, así que los ingenieros y arquitectos tienen el reto de buscar métodos para que sean resistentes y seguros para las personas que darán uso de el. Debido a esto su diseño retorcido hace que el edificio sea aerodinámico y consiga soportar el viento de 53 metros por segundo. Otro dato sobre este edificio, es que posee la certificación LEED de oro, utilizando métodos como el doble muro, que ayuda al edificio a regular las temperaturas interiores, disminuyendo el uso de aires acondicionados, un sistema geotérmico, que consiste en usar la temperatura de la tierra para regular las temperaturas del edificio, dispositivos colectores de agua, aerogeneradores ubicados en diferentes puntos para generar energía adicional y ascensores de alta velocidad que por medio de fricción generan energía al funcionar.

Burj Khalifa (ó Burj Dubai)
Ubicado en Dubai, tiene el título del edificio más alto del mundo desde el año 2010, cuando el título le pertenecía al Taipei 101. Debe su nombre al Jeque y presidente de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Jalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan. Inició su construcción en 2004 y culminó en 2010, lo cual es bastante impresionante tomando en cuenta que por cada piso se eleva el nivel de dificultad en la construcción. Tiene la impresionante altura de 828 metros, lo cual lo aleja bastante del segundo edificio más alto del mundo (con 632 metros) y tiene 163 pisos de usos mixtos. Éste edificio tiene uno de los procesos constructivos más impresionantes que he visto, básicamente utilizó tecnología de prefabricación, grúas y cerchas con cilindros que se colocan en el edificio y se anclan de diferentes formas para conseguir un molde que se mueve de piso a piso y de este modo acelerar el proceso de construcción. Se utilizó antecedentes de muchos edificios para conseguir su objetivo de altura, que inicialmente era de 570 metros, su altura fue un secreto casi hasta el día que se finalizó su construcción, incluso surgieron rumores de que tendría 1 kilómetro de alto. Su diseño tiene la forma de una Y, para eliminar el problema del viento, su estructura se compone de hormigón armado hasta la planta 156 (586 metros de altura) y luego acero, para conseguir una estructura más ligera. Gracias a estos materiales y a su diseño, también tiene buena resistencia a los terremotos. Hay que tomar en cuenta que este edificio se encuentra en medio del desierto, y para conseguir un edificio sustentable, colocaron cristales con capas metálicas protectoras que aunque permiten la entrada de la luz del sol, no permiten que pase la mayor parte del calor solar radiante, ayudando a mantener la temperatura del edificio.
Como datos adicionales: muchas turistas hacen saltos desde la punta del edificio, algunos videos muestran como al caer van rodeando el edificio dejando una estela de humo lo cual es un espectáculo hermoso. Hay disponible para turistas una guía por el edificio en la cual cuentan sobre la construcción y la historia del edificio y también puedes subir hasta el piso 148 y acceder al mirador. En su base hacen espectáculos con una fuente que fue construida por los mismos que diseñaron la fuente danzante de las vegas.
