We are Team 10KEI, preparing for the M2E project, 10KEI.
What is 10KEI ?
"10KEI" represents 10K, meaning 10,000 steps. We chose this name because our project is based on M2E, and we believe there's no better fit. We aim to assist you in achieving both health and rewards by taking 10,000 steps each day.
In the world of blockchain, numerous M2E services exist. One prominent example is Stepn, and our project has also been influenced by it. However, we have observed various existing projects, taking note of their strengths and weaknesses. Motivated by a desire to create a better service by learning from these experiences, we embarked on our own journey.
WHY HIVE Blockchain?
We have observed numerous M2E services and identified several issues. One common problem is the lack of a proper community, leading to communication challenges. Another significant concern is the perceived decline in value due to the absence of a robust deflationary model.
The reason we chose to launch our project on Hive is that, unlike other ecosystems, the Hive community is characterized by strong community engagement, and we believe that there is currently no M2E project like Stepn within the Hive ecosystem. While our project still has room for improvement, we have faith that, with feedback from the Hive community, we can grow and evolve.
Our Team 10KEI has found potential solutions in the distinctive nature of the Hive ecosystem, characterized by its strong community dynamics and differences from other coins.
In this inaugural post, we will begin by providing an overview of the 10KEI project in development and a brief roadmap.
10KEI Service
In subsequent posts, we will provide detailed explanations. However, for now, let me offer a brief description of what our M2E project, 10KEI, is all about.
- Pro Mode (Point Mode for Web2 Users)
The Pro Mode is a feature designed for the general public, including those unfamiliar with cryptocurrencies. To encourage external users' participation, we put a lot of thought into incentivizing Pro Mode users to transition into the VIP Mode, where they can utilize the cryptocurrency.
In Pro Mode, users can earn Kei Points, which can be accumulated to purchase NFT shoes or access upcoming partnership services.
Pro Mode operates based on step counts, a familiar function for those who have used pedometers! It is a mode designed to reward users for their basic walking activities.
- V.I.PMode( NFT Mode for Web3 Users)
The VIP Mode is exclusively for users who have purchased NFT shoes. Naturally, it allows for a more detailed utilization of the DAPP compared to the Pro Mode, offering significantly greater rewards. Users can enhance their experience by upgrading and combining their purchased NFT shoes.
Unlike the point-based Pro Mode, the VIP Mode operates based on GPS location. It generates earnings by tracking the user's location on the map, the distance covered, and speed. Users can choose to walk or run based on their preferred style, and their stamina and endurance are consumed to earn tokens. The amount of tokens earned is determined by the shoe's level, stats, and the items in use or owned.
In this way, we have both the basic Pro Mode and the more advanced VIP Mode. Through future development, we plan to introduce various additional contents such as mini-games and a marketplace. Detailed information will be presented in upcoming posts.
Short-term roadmap

Our 10KEI team has been closely observing various M2E projects. As a result, we've realized that M2E projects are primarily created for individuals active in the blockchain ecosystem. However, 10KEI aims to establish an environment where not only participants in the blockchain ecosystem but people from all around the world can fairly engage, run together, and generate profits.
Therefore, we've decided to embark on a project based on social contribution, with the goal of activating the M2E ecosystem, spreading awareness to a broader audience, and creating an environment where people can help each other and enjoy running together. We plan to contribute a portion of our earnings to marginalized groups as well as charitable organizations and NGOs, not only to promote our project but also to share the unique joy of our project.

Who's behind the project? Were they hive users before or new to Hive?
Our team first started working at HIVE.
However, our team studied HIVE blockchain for a long time.
And because I was very interested in HIVE POWER and the community system and wanted to add it to the M2E system, So we chose HIVE blockchain.
However, HIVE is a smart contract system that is different from other blockchains, so we need help with development and service advancement.
Sounds good, but like, could you answer the question?
Reputation is quite important here, we don't just throw money and help/assistance at anyone. If you're going to remain anon without even providing info on who the people in the team are or what their hive accounts are/were when they first started working on stuff here it's going to be an uphill battle cause of the lack of trust.
Our team was not active in HIVE.
We are newbies. However, we are actively working on developing services using the HIVE blockchain.
We are reviewing a lot of data and holding meetings to understand the HIVE community as much as possible.

That is why we plan to open the beta version of the 10KEI M2E service first.
If there are no results from the 10KEI service and only simple text, I think this can be viewed as a scam.
Our development progress is not bad and is progressing in a good direction. So, I think it's the right time to start community activities and I've written this article.

You should be aware of the incumbent M2E Hive dApp Actifit. Estimated 2.25 billion steps recorded across 450,000+ activity reports to date. I use it all the time, but welcome healthy competition.
It is great that you have a plan for graduating web2 users to web3. I think this is the likely future for most applications that want to appeal to broader markets. A core function familiar to web2 users, with an "upgrade pathway" that softly sells in the web3 world.
Technically, there is a difference between Actifit and Stepn.
Two M2E services are not the same M2E service.
We are developing an M2E service that combines each technology and adds advertising functions.
We will share what kind of service 10KEI M2E is one by one through additional posts.
