He Did It! Some Facts About Kevin Anderson's victory over Roger Federer yesterday!
Federer won the first two sets, and was up 5-4 in the third. Anderson was actually down a match point. And then the turning point came.
At 1 hour and 56 minutes into the match, and at match point for Federer, Anderson hit a hard but rather non-descript forehand approach shot straight to the Federer backhand.
What I like about that approach shot is how he did not give Federer an angle to work with. Something that is quite indispensible when you want to hit a passing shot!
Kevin is tops again!
I trust he will be able to keep it up to the end. He looked very emotional in the interview. Like he won Wimbledon. As if that was his final. Really hope he will be able to keep his current form.
