RE: Seen My First Tesla Cybertruck In The Wild Today.

It is sort of futuristic, but then it looks like it was drawn by a child. I've heard it is not that great as a truck when it comes to load capacity. The US obsession with big trucks seems strange to us over here, but we have to get away from burning oil. We are leasing a Chinese EV as it's actually pretty good.

The fact that Musk got all politically radical has made his vehicles more divisive.

I'm on Bluesky and his politics have completely alienated him from the left. I mean, they really don't like him or his brand anymore.

I don't get it either, besides the functionality. Most of the people driving them, don't need them. The rest are driving some form of SUV. You don't see a lot of normal cars outside the cities. I was thinking about a small work truck for the resell business. Which they really don't even do "small" here anymore. The big trucks are ridiculously priced to the point where I really can't justify it.

I would totally consider this if we had access to them. I was researching some of them and they seem perfect for back and forth to work and errands around the neighborhood.

Honestly, it's this type of "hypocrisy" in policy that creates climate deniers and I kind of get it. Not justifying it, but I get where they're coming from.
