Some highlights for ya:
contribution period starts on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 6 am UTC and lasts for 2000 bitcoin blocks, which should correspond approximately to 14 days
contributions can be made using ether (ETH) or bitcoin (BTC)
minimal Contribution amount per user is 0.1 BTC
no contribution cap
contribution bonus is granted to Contributors who contribute early in the contribution period, and they decreases
from 20% to 0% over a period of 2000 blocks

Tezos is a self-amending cryptographic ledger.
