Steemians, come along on a side trip to the 2018 Thailand Yacht Show plus a tour of Phuket beaches & Bangla Rd!

-Having grown up around boats and the water, always love to take in a boat show! In this case the 'Thailand Yacht Show' which took place recently at Ao Po Grand Marina on Phuket Island. There's actually now 2 main boat shows on Phuket, the original being the 'PIMEX Phuket International Boat Show' (missed that one unfortunately, was away). The other main boat show in Thailand is the 'Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show' (did attend that one, can see on 'SideTripPlus' YT channel if interested). All in all the Thailand Yacht Show made for a great day out and hope you may enjoy it too!
Of course a visit to Phuket also means a visit to some of the many beaches and although there wasn't enough time on this trip to take in but a few, did manage to visit Patong (of course) as well as Karon & Kata. The video shows there were a fair amount of visitors on those main beaches but if one is looking for quieter beaches on Phuket there are several others too. Next trip will have a broader look around.
Last, one cannot visit Phuket (especially Patong) without seeing Bangla Walking St (gawking st;) and it was absolutely chock full of fellow walkers & gawkers adding to the carnival type atmosphere.
