Is this legit?
Yes. It's not uncommon for some people to label any company that pays members to refer people a pyramid scheme, scam or MLM. Such shady businesses typically involve members spending more money than they will ever earn, they have deceptive practices and a lot of people get burned.

Level Rewards does not charge it's members anything be a member or earn money. We make no outlandish promises. We do not collect credit card information or sell user data. When you join Level Rewards, you become an affiliate of our program. You get paid to sign people up for trial offers and surveys. We look for as many free and cheap offers and surveys that we can find. If our users spend any money, it is their choice. However, there is no obligation to complete paid trials and no obligation to keep offers beyond the trial period. Our most popular non-free trials usually cost about $1, but pay referral commissions many times greater.

Giving advertisers traffic from users who are willing to test out their products and services is our business model. Through our networks over the years, we've promoted trials from some of the biggest brands in the country. There are no tricks, deception or illegal activity involved.

What type of business or program is this?
In technical terms, Level Rewards is an affiliate site that publishes incentive trial offers and surveys. This is also know as CPA, or cost per action advertising. We work with advertising and affiliate networks that supply us with campaigns to drive traffic to. We typically have no direct relationship with the individual advertisers. We try to make the advertisers happy by supplying them with real users who are willing to give their offers a fair trial. We try to keep our users happy by looking for the best campaigns we can find and having fast payouts.

Is this free?
Membership to Level Rewards itself is completely free. As far as the offers, some are free, but many have a small cost. Advertisers set the trial cost and commission rates based on what they think will work best towards their individual campaign goals. Members are not obligated to complete any particular offers; picking a paid trial or keeping a trial beyond the trial period is a member's choice.

How can Level Rewards pay out so much money for free and cheap trial sign ups? What’s the catch?
There is no catch. Advertising is expensive. Companies spend a ton of money to attract new customers. As long as we are providing advertisers with real users that are willing to their products or services a fair trial, we are no more expensive for them than other forms of advertising. The advertiser's just hope that a certain percentage of people who sign up will convert into regular paying customers, that's why the majority of offers are subscription offers.

Why do a lot of the free trials ask for a debit or credit card?
As most trial offers are for subscription based products or services, it simply wouldn't make sense for most advertisers to payout a lot of money for users in which they'd have no chance of converting into paying customers. Using your card simply displays that there is a possibility and straight forward mechanism of converting you into a customer.

Why do many of the descriptions state no prepaid cards allowed?
As most of the trials are subscription based, it doesn't make for them to want a lot of traffic from users who they have no chance of turning into subscribers. While some people do use prepaid cards just like they would use a bank or credit card, prepaid cards have a high association with low quality traffic. That's why the use of prepaid cards is against our terms and conditions, many of the advertisers that can detect them will not credit it, and even if you do receive credit, an advertiser may later revoke credit if they see it was a prohibited card.

How do the levels in Level Rewards work?
Level Rewards has easy to complete levels, each worth $5 per referral and many offers are worth multiple level completions. The incentive for leveling up is that you can not get paid for levels your referrals complete beyond your level until you level up. Every 1.00 credit elevates you to the next level, and partial credits are added up. So if you complete an offer worth 1.25 credits, you will be at level 1. If you complete another offer for 0.75 credits, you will have 2.00 credits total and be at level 2. If you want to avoid having to do the math, you can click the Add Up Offers checkbox on the offers page and click on the offers you want to potentially complete and the system will show you how many credits and levels those offers will add up to when completed.

As an example, if you signup, complete offers and get to level 5, it will enable you to earn up to $25 per referral. So if you sign someone up and they get to level 1, you’ll earn $5. If you sign up a different member and they get to level 3, you will make $15. If that person comes back and completes two more levels, you will earn additional $10. If they then go to level 10 and you are still at level 5, you can not get paid out for the levels that they completed above your level, until you raise your level.

In reality, a person who gets to level 10 (who can earn up to $50 per referral) will have some members who get to level 5, others who get to level 1, others who get to level 10, etc. Increasing your level raises your income potential, but how much you earn per referral will vary. Typically, the more you help your signups and the better relationship you build with them, the more levels they will complete and the more you will earn.

How long does it take to receive money through PayPal?
After you request payment and the payment gets approved (which is typically within 24 hours) it should show up within your PayPal account immediately. Sometimes you’ll get paid out within an hour and other times it may be several hours; it varies based on when you place your order and when we are processing payments. All payment requests get reviewed for quality control and fraud prevention purposes, so be sure to follow the terms and conditions of our site.

Who can I sign up?
You can sign up any person in an eligible country who is not a member of your household. Only one member can sign up per household, and only one person can complete offers per IP address. Eligible countries are U.S, Canada, Australia and the UK. We do not accept members from other countries because there are not enough decent trial offers available in other countries to make it worthwhile. Members must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate and obtain free items. Persons 16 and 17 years may be able to join if they have parental permission to do so, although they may not be able to complete specific offers. Your country, state, and local laws take precedence over our stated age allowance.

Can I change my sponsor?
Level Rewards allows referrals to change sponsor without permission from their original sponsor. Quite often, a referral and their sponsor may not know each other personally and may not have any communication with each other after initial signup, so we do not see a reason to make sponsorship permanent if a referral wants to change sponsor. If the referral has completed levels before being transferred that are unpaid, we will keep a record of it and allow the sponsor to cash out on the referrals completed levels. However, if either the referral or sponsor is on hold, or if there is a credit revoke, the level will not be paid until such issues get resolved.

I completed an offer, but didn’t receive credit for it. What do I do?
As long as the offer doesn’t explicitly state that missing credit requests aren’t allowed, you can file a missing credit request. On the support page, click the orange “Click Here to File a Missing Credit” request button. Fill out the form on the credit request page to request credit. Be sure to use the email from the advertiser which indicates you fulfilled the offer requirements. Copy and Paste the confirmation email and submit your credit request.
