Was Mowing and -

Saw this guy come squirting out from under the front tire of the lawnmower and just missed giving his tail a cropping. I was the only one home while doing the yard work so nobody got to see it despite trying to house it in some hanging plants. It kept diving out LOL! SO I took some pix and here they are!

So do NOT like snakes. Doesn't matter the size or whether its venemous or not!!! blegh!! ;)

I love snakes because they eat other things I don't like, like mice and various vermin and bugs :)

Haha that's true. You've got a point. There is only one snake in Mauritius non-venemous and up to date invisible to me thank you so much.. 😂 😂 In SA there were plenty. Too many and all poisonous

I'm happy to see the non-vems! When I moved here, I had to take out a whole family of cottonmouths, wasn't fun :P

@enginewitty, These pictures are reminding me of Man vs Wild.

Aw! Cute little one. Glad you didn't get it with the mower.

you know I love rats and mice so snakes scare me (not themselves but what they eat) still I find them soooo cute, I'm glad it didn't get hurt.

I can relate. A few months back, I was bringing the riding mower back after mowing, and thought I had run over a small snake.

I ran back to check, and he was stunned, not harmed, and turned out to be a beautiful young black rat snake. I took several photos of him before releasing him in our wood pile.

And, obviously, I have no actual knowledge as to gender. I wasn't about to measure its' cloaca, as if done incorrectly, you can injure them. I'm fine with not knowing.

I've loved snakes since I was a little kid, and my mom was very tolerant, as I was allergic to nearly every other animal on the planet.

Bless her for being an amazing and loving mom and woman. ;-)

And bless my former brother-in-law, Tosh, for gifting me a pair of black Canadian racers for my twelfth birthday. He was absolutely one of my heroes, and I always adored him.

Im not like... Come here little snake, but small snakes like that I have no problems with and have actually held at Times. That is a beautiful one and good thing you didn't chop him and made him snake pieces 🐍 🤪 lol
