A great post on "freedom." I especially liked the music, but what you've written is also very true. It is our choice as to how we view freedom. I think it may depend on our experience with the things we are free to do to an extent though.
For the people of the world who have been oppressed their whole lives, living or dead, the choice to recognize just some freedom in their lives would seem to range between very difficult to impossible for most of them, and surely if they've never experienced even minimal freedom.
It's a very precious thing, freedom. It has had lots of enemies trying to rip it to shreds, wherever it exists, from the time of its first appearance in this world. Especially by those who have power and don't allow it for "their people."
