Teresa
A mysterious spell caught me.
You've reached my arms, helpless
but wrapped in the perfume
most powerful on the planet, Teresa.

Now I would like to compose lullabies
Let them talk about roses, stars, dolls.
From a soft and true world
A place without sadness, for you, Teresa.

I will create a prayer for the moon
Asking for light for your nights girls
A special attention to your ways
When you know how to walk and run, Teresa.

I offer you the center of my house
The look of your father, of your grandmother
The most ethereal touch, the softest sound
to repeat your name, Teresa, Teresa.

Un misterioso hechizo me hizo presa.
Has llagado a mis brazos, indefensa
pero envuelta en el perfume
más potente del planeta, Teresa.

Ahora quisiera componer arrullos
Que hablen de rosas, de luceros, de muñecas
De un mundo blando y verdadero
Un lugar sin tristezas, para ti, Teresa.

Crearé una oración para la luna
Pidiéndole luz para tus noches niñas
Una atención especial a tus caminos
Cuando sepas caminar y correr, Teresa.

Yo te ofrezco el centro de mi casa
La mirada de tu padre, de tu abuela
El tacto más etéreo, el sonido más suave
para repetir tu nombre, Teresa, Teresa.
