Have you ever think how it could be if heaven really exist? that was the questions that professor Santos ask as start point in one of the conferences he dictate at university some years ago. And the answer was "almost impossible".
In the opinion of the professor after death are nothing, but when some of the students ask about God the answer was in some sense confusing.
Of course, I do believe, he said.
-Just imagine this-, he added
-We are just in the imagination of the author, we are no more than thoughts, no more than characters in a very short story-
-Impossible, if we can think, then we exist- a student added.
-Existence is not in discussion, if the author writes that we are having this discussion, we are no really thinking- Santos replied
-One more question, if is there are one almighty author, why can not be more than one?-
-There must be only one, because if there were more, the will of some would conflict with the will of others- a student added.
-OK, but what if there is some agreement between authors, something like a copyright that prevents others from writing alternate stories about the same characters?-
-It could be like that, but what about the stories that fans imagine, wouldn't this be chaotic?, -
-This could give rise to parallel universes, but the characters of one line could not know what happens in the others-
-That depends on which alternate stories are accepted by the original author.-
-So what do you think, do we really exist?- ask Santos
Everyone started laughing and making jokes about the professor's crazy theory, some went to eat something during the break, because the conference had already taken too long and the university officials decided to send food for everyone, there was pizza , fried chicken and even a chocolate fountain, this had become a real party, but suddenly someone asked:
-Someone has thought that perhaps the author has another author who dictates what he writes-
Then Professor Santos did something that left everyone perplexed, he turned to the front slightly up and asked
-Mr @saulos, have you thought that maybe you are also a character?
¿Han pensado alguna vez, cómo podría ser si el cielo realmente existiera? ésa fue la pregunta que planteó el profesor Santos como punto de partida en una de las conferencias que dictó en la universidad hace algunos años. Y la respuesta fue "casi imposible".
En la opinión del profesor Santos después de la muerte no hay nada, pero cuando algunos de los estudiantes preguntaron acerca de Dios, la respuesta fue en cierto sentido, confusa.
Por supuesto que creo, dijo.
-Imaginen esto-, agregó.
-Estamos solo en la imaginación del autor, no somos más que sus pensamientos, no somos más que personajes de una historia muy corta-
-Imposible, si podemos pensar, entonces existimos- añadió un alumno.
-La existencia no está en discusión, si el autor escribe que estamos teniendo esta discusión, realmente no estamos pensando- respondió Santos
-Una pregunta más, si hay un autor todopoderoso, ¿por qué no puede haber más de uno? -
-Debe haber solo uno, porque si hubiera más, la voluntad de unos entraría en conflicto con la voluntad de otros- añadió un estudiante.
-Está bien, pero ¿y si hay algún acuerdo entre los autores, algo así como un copyright que impide que otros escriban historias alternativas sobre los mismos personajes? - Agregó el profesor Santos
-Podría ser así, pero ¿qué pasa con las historias que imaginan los fans, no sería esto caótico? - añadió el mismo estudiante
-Esto podría dar lugar a universos paralelos, pero los personajes de una línea no podrían saber qué pasa en las otras- agregó otro estudiante
-Eso depende de qué historias alternativas acepta el autor original.- añadió el primer estudiante
-Entonces, ¿qué piensas, realmente existimos? - preguntó Santos
Todos se echaron a reír y a hacer bromas sobre la loca teoría del profesor, algunos fueron a comer algo durante el receso, porque la conferencia ya se había demorado demasiado y los funcionarios de la universidad decidieron enviar comida para todos, había pizza, pollo frito y hasta una fuente de chocolate, esto se había convertido en una verdadera fiesta, pero de repente alguien preguntó:
-Alguien ha pensado que quizás el autor tiene a su vez otro autor que dicta lo que escribe-
Entonces el profesor Santos hizo algo que dejó a todos perplejos. Volteo la vista al frente un poco hacia arriba y preguntó
-Señor @saulos, ¿ha pensado que tal vez usted también es un personaje?

A very interesting conundrum, indeed! If we are but actors in a story, then we just need to spend our lives watching the story play out. I like how you told the story from the perspective of a classroom discussion.
