I get why people are mad about bots and all that and I don't, personally, use them but I feel like punitive approaches like that list are the wrong way to go. I think there is room for everyone here and, ultimately, any lasting peace on this issue will require people to come to some equitable compromise. However, that will never happen as long as everyone wants to punish each other with blacklists and whatnot.
I do understand the anger from her side. The site does have its bad actors and, if I am being honest, I struggle here and it can feel like the deck is stacked against smaller accounts but I also don't think fighting among ourselves will make anything better for anyone. Plus, as you point out, it ends up hurting people and some of them didn't do anything to deserve it.
I don't know what the solution is. I am no expert and this subject is outside of my wheelhouse but that is the way I see things, anyway.
